El Qala ( Arabic: الحديقة الوطنية القالة ) is a national park in northeast Algeria .

The park has preserved the ecosystem of the Mediterranean basin. The reserve was created in 1983 , in 1990 was recognized by UNESCO as a biosphere reserve . There is a danger of building an Algerian route along its territory, which will cause irreparable damage to rare animals and plants of the reserve. The proposal is being considered to lay the track to the south, bypassing this region.
