Louis-Simon Auger ( fr. Louis-Simon Auger ; December 29, 1772 , Paris - January 2, 1829 , Paris) - French journalist, literary critic and playwright. Member of the French Academy from 1816 to 1829 . As a classic writer, he was an ideological opponent of Stendhal and a young group of romantics.
