VIEW: After the tragic death of his brother last spring, Yaroslav Kaczynski initially acknowledged the fact that Moscow fully cooperates with the Polish authorities in investigating the causes of the plane crash near Smolensk. Why, after the elections, he changed his position and began to hint in every way that the case was unclean and the Russians still hide some causes of the catastrophe, and eventually even urged the Americans to join the investigation?
Sergey Stankevich [6] : This is a political conjuncture. Extreme right-wing politicians need an atmosphere of a kind of excitement to maintain a certain degree. They need new hurting factors. In this case, even such a huge tragedy is also used to rally its supporters, to mobilize the far-right political spectrum.
