Urbino European Law Seminar is a summer seminar held annually by the Center for European Legal Studies of Urbino since 1959. The theme of the seminar, which takes place in French, Italian and English, deals with pressing issues of European law , private international law , comparative law and Italian law. The seminars are held with the support of the Faculty of Law of the University of Urbino by specialists from various European countries.
Participation in the seminar gives the right to receive a certificate. Successful passing of exams, depending on the conditions [1] , is confirmed by the provision of a diploma in comparative law, a diploma in European law, a diploma in advanced studies of European law or a diploma in advanced studies of European law of the faculty of law of the University of Urbino.
Content
History
Urbino's European Law Seminar was opened on August 24, 1959 [2] by Henri Batiffole, Focion Francescakis, Alessandro Millazza, Francesco Capotorti, Enrico Paleari and Germain Bruyard. Until 2004, the workshop was supported by philanthropists Chino and Simone Del Duca. Since 2009 [3] , the research professors of the Center for European Legal Studies of Urbino, united by the Galileo group , have been financially supported by the Franco-Italian Galileo scientific cooperation program [4] .
