Description
Body length 37-46 cm, wing length 27-32 cm, weight 300-400 g. Red- haired Himango with a white tack, striped tail, beak, “face” and paws bluish-gray. Himachima white or cream, a dark back and wings, a striped tail, undecorated part of the “face” and legs are light green.
Inhabit semi-desert, pampa, woodlands, are common in settlements. Omnivores: feed on insects, frogs, lizards, small animals, carrion, fruits, vegetables, ears of corn.
Sometimes kept in groups of 20-30 birds
Himango inhabit the southern part of South America to Bolivia in the north. Himahima - South America from northern Argentina in the south, and the southern part of Central America .
