The village of Ust-Yugan arose during the construction of the railway. Highways "Tyumen - Tobolsk - Surgut". History
- 1969 is the date of the formation of the village by the construction and assembly train No. 384 of the Tyumenstroyput association. The first beams and building trailers appear.
- On December 16, 1971, the administration of the Ust-Yugansk Village Council was established.
- In 1972, the executive committee of the Ust-Yugansk village council was created, a division of the Surgut district executive committee.
- July 23, 1980 the village was transferred to the jurisdiction of the Nefteyugansk District Executive Committee
- January 4, 1991 was abolished by the Executive Committee of the Ust-Yugansk Village Council. The administration of the village council has been created. [4] The councils were reformed and replaced by the local administration. [five]
- On September 1, 1999, a new high school was opened.
In 2005, a municipal formation was formed in the rural settlement of Ust-Yugan with its own deputies.
