ADAMI ( French Société civile pour l'administration des droits des artistes et musiciens interprètes ) is a French society for the collective management of related rights of performers , a non-profit public organization.

Creation History
ADAMI Society was established on February 24, 1955 .
Founders of the organization: Roger Bourdin, Jean Giraudeau, Pierre Olivier and Pierre Chesnais.
Members of the organization as of December 31, 2009 are 23 017 performing artists : famous actors , singers, musicians , conductors .
Activity Goals
The main task of ADAMI is the collection, distribution and payment of remuneration to performers for public performance, the transmission of phonograms published for commercial purposes, broadcast and cable, as well as the private copying of recordings of their performances .
In addition, ADAMI represents and protects the related rights of French performers , provides them with material support, both in France and abroad. Many significant cultural projects aimed at supporting, finding employment and professional training for performers , including beginners, are held under the auspices of ADAMI. Since 1988, the number of such programs has reached 14,000; over 205 million euros have been allocated for their organization.
In recent years, more than 900 various projects of performing artists have received ADAMI grants totaling about 12 million euros.
Since November 2000, ADAMI has been conducting a European conference of performing artists in the resort town of Cabourg in northern France , in which well-known European artists, producers, representatives of various musical associations, as well as representatives of collective management societies, take part.
Financial Performance
The total remuneration fees for 2009 amounted to 58 million euros (in 2008 - 53 million, in 2007 - 52 million).
During 2009, ADAMI paid a fee of € 41 million to more than 58,000 artists in France and Europe . Indicators in 2008 - 35 million euros for 47,000 performers , in 2007 - 38 million euros for 45,000 performers .
Governing Bodies
The ADAMI Council is composed of representatives of various categories of performing artists and consists of 34 members.

International activities
ADAMI is a member of the following international organizations:
- AEPO (Association of European Performers' Organizations);
- SCAPR (Societies Council for the Administration of Performers Rights);
- IPDA (International Data Base Association).
In addition, ADAMI has a number of agreements on mutual representation of interests with foreign organizations for collective management of performers' rights.
ADAMI's partner in Russia is the All-Russian Intellectual Property Organization [1] [2] .
