Preschool Education
The city has 129 preschool educational institutions , including 89 institutions of a general developmental type. About 30 thousand people study in the system of primary and secondary vocational education in Kirov. In Kirov, there are 14 state secondary vocational schools (including 5 federal) and 13 non-state. Branches of 3 state and 2 non-state nonresident secondary vocational secondary schools work. Primary vocational education is represented by 12 institutions.
Higher Education
Higher education in Kirov is represented by four state and three non-state universities of the Kirov region, as well as branches of 10 state and 8 non-state universities of other regions.
