The Union of Composers Jazz Club is a famous Moscow club, the main jazz venue in the Russian capital [1] [2] . Located in Bryusov Lane, near the Kremlin ( metro Okhotny Ryad , Tverskaya ). Opened in 2007 .

Description
The club has music of various directions: traditional jazz , modern jazz, fusion, blues , jazz rock , rock and roll , funk , soul , ethno. It also hosts Cuban and Spanish-style dance nights.
The club features well-known Russian and foreign jazz musicians, as well as novice performers in jam session mode. Among the club's visitors are jazz music lovers, intellectuals and creative intelligentsia, expats , as well as business people, politicians, diplomats, actors, directors, and businessmen. The club was visited by: Danish crown prince Frederick , president of the legendary Montreux jazz festival - Claude Nobs, culture attache of the US Embassy Jeffrey Sexton, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain Juan Carlos Mark, Ambassadors of Norway, Belgium and the USA.
History
The club was opened in February 2007. Immediately after the opening, several jazz festivals were held at the club. At the I festival, all prominent figures of both the domestic and foreign stages performed. Each day of the festival presented to the public a new genre, from blues to avant-garde experiments.
All foreign participants of the II Festival came to Russia for the first time [3] . Among them is the legendary American drummer El Foster , the progressive Dutch band Monsieur Dubois.
The III Festival gave an opportunity to fans of improvisational music to see and hear the musicians: saxophonist Joshua Redman (Joshua Redman) and double bass player Buster Williams (Buster Williams)
The IV Festival (autumn 2007) presented to the public another set of participants, mainly American musicians: bass player Victor Bailey [4] , saxophonist Scott Hamilton, vocalist James Davis and others.
At the V Festival (spring 2008), Diane Schur, vocalist and star of American jazz and blues, and saxophonist quartet Ernie Watts performed.
The 6th Festival (October 2008) presented the audience with extraordinary French jazz - rock project Quelques Fiers Mongols, percussionist Frank Colon (Frank Colon) and New York vocalist - Amy London (Amy London) and others.

Interior
The interiors of the club were made by well-known designer Sergei Tretyak (restaurant "Teatro", cafe "Modest charm of the bourgeoisie" "Lights"). The hall of the institution is designed for comfortable accommodation of about 110 people. The modern technology that the club is equipped with allows you to record live performances by invited stars.
Kitchen
The restaurant menu is composed mainly of dishes developed in conjunction with nutrition experts. The club has a really rich wine list.
