Siberian Redstart [1] ( Latin : Phoenicurus auroreus ) is a bird of the order Passeriformes , flycatcher family , and the genus Redstart , living in Mongolia , Korea , China , Russia ( Transbaikalia , Amur Region , Primorye , Sakhalin ). Wintering places - Japan , India , Malacca . Builds nests in the summer of horsehair, grass and feathers. In the clutch - 5-6 pinkish or blue eggs with red specks. Settle near human buildings (nests under the roofs), also in bright forests, urems and talniks (nests in hollows of trees, crevices of rocks, in the roots of twisted trees, in heaps of stones). They feed on insects; on wintering, they eat berries.
