CONCACAF

CONCACAF ( eng. CONCACAF, CO nfederation of N orth, C entral A merican and Cribbean A ssociation F ootball ) - Confederation of Football in North and Central America and the Caribbean ; an organization that manages and controls the football structures of the countries of the region. In addition to the countries of the region, the organization includes three countries of South America : Guyana , Suriname and Guiana .

The organization was founded on September 18, 1961 as a result of the merger of NAFK and KKKF and is one of the six continental FIFA confederations authorized to conduct tournaments for the national teams of the region and qualifying competitions for the World Cup .
