Geographical position
The territory of the municipality is located in the south-eastern part of the Vyaznikovsky district of the Vladimir region . Area - 760.3 km².
History
The Paustovsky rural settlement was established on May 16, 2005 in accordance with the Law of the Vladimir Region No. 62-OZ [3] . It included territories of former rural districts (until 1998 - village councils): Oktyabrsky, Paustovsky, Proletarsky, Sergievo-Gorsky .
