CCCP Fedeli alla linea - Italian rock band formed in 1982 in Berlin vocalist Giovanni Lindo Ferretti and guitarist Massimo Dzamboni. Musicians defined the style of their work as “punk filosovietico - musica melodica emiliana” (“pro-Soviet punk - melodic Emilian music”; Emilia - region in Italy).

Description
Translation of the group’s name is “faithful lines of the USSR ”, and the name of the state was depicted in Cyrillic but written in Latin letters (in the first song of the debut album “ 1964-1985 Affinità-divergenze fra il compagno Togliatti e noi (Del conseguimento della maggiore età) ” Ferretti pronounces “chi-chi-chi-pi” (note: in principle, in Italian, the USSR is written in Latin letters only, and is literally read according to the rules of the Italian language as chi-chi-chi-pi).
Contrary to the established stereotypes of the punk rock genre, CCCP strove for musical diversity, combining elements of such trends as industrial , electro-pop , folk and even chamber music in songs. The texts were dominated by forecasting the dark future of humanity and philosophical existentialism .
In 1989, the group gave concerts in Moscow and Leningrad .
The team broke up in 1990, in the era of the collapse of the East European system of socialism. Natives of the group created a new group Consorzio Suonatori Indipendenti ( «consortium of independent artists"), whose acronym CSI coincide with the CIS .
