“ Cheer Down ” is a George Harrison song he wrote in 1989 for the soundtrack to the movie Deadly Weapons 2 . The co-author of the lyrics was Tom Petty . [1] The song was released on the soundtrack of the film and as a separate single. Later, the composition was included on the compilation album Best of Dark Horse 1976-1989 . The song was produced by George Harrison and Jeff Lynn .
