Rifkat (Rafkat) Vakilovich Israfilov ( Bashk. Israfilov Rifk Vәkil uly ; born August 6, 1941 , Novo-Muslyumovo of the Mechetlinsky district of the BASSR ) is a Soviet Russian actor, theater director, and theater teacher. People's Artist of the RSFSR ( 1989 ). Laureate of the State Prize of Russia ( 1995 ) and the BASSR Prize named after Salavat Yulaev. Honored Artist of the RSFSR, BASSR, Tatarstan, North Ossetia-Alania. He was awarded the Order of Friendship of Peoples and "Honor", an Honorary Diploma of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the BASSR. Full member (academician) of the St. Petersburg Petrovsky Academy of Science and Art. Secretary of the Russian Union of Theater Workers and Chairman of the Russian Council of National Theaters. Biography
Rifkat Israfilov was born on August 6, 1941 [2] in the Tatar village of Novo-Muslyumovo of the Mechetlinsky district of the BASSR (now Bashkortostan ).
In 1965 he graduated from the directing department of the Ufa College of Arts , in 1973 GITIS (course A. A. Popov ).
While still a student of GITIS, Rifkat Israfilov staged drama at the Bashkir Theater. Mazhita Gafuri’s play to M. Fayzi “Galiyaban”, later the diploma performance was staged there: “Unsent letters” by A. Kutuya . In 1981, Rifkat Israfilov became the chief director and artistic director of the Bashkir Academic Drama Theater named after Mazhit Gafuri [3] .
Since 1997, Rifkat Israfilov heads the Orenburg Drama Theater [4] .
