Kelyophis hechti ( lat. from malag kely "small" and other Greek зφις "snake") is a species of chalk snakes from the extinct family Madtsoiidae , found in Madagascar . The only species of the genus Kelyophis .

The specific name, hechti , is given in honor of Max K. Hecht ( born Max K. Hecht ), a biologist from Queens College, City University of New York [1] .
