The flag of the municipality is the rural settlement of Barvikhinskoye, drawn up on the basis of the coat of arms of the rural settlement according to the rules and relevant traditions of vexillology and reflects historical, cultural, socio-economic, national and other local traditions.

Description

“A rectangular red panel with a 2: 3 ratio of width to length, bearing in the middle a white vertical strip (2/9 of the length of the panel) with a green image of pine, and in the center of each of the two red parts is a white stylized image of a lily."

Justification of Symbols

The history of the Barviha land dates back many centuries. In the XI-XII centuries there were settlements of the Slavs-Vyatichi. In the XVI century, in the "hunting book" of Ivan the Terrible , a forest tract of Borich was noted, the pine forests of which were rich in all kinds of game. Today, Barvikha enjoys the well-deserved fame of one of the cleanest places in the Moscow region, here is located one of the famous sanatoriums - "Barvikha". Lily as a symbol of perfection, light and purification allegorically shows the natural feature of the territory of a rural settlement.

White color ( silver ) is a symbol of purity, peace and understanding, on the flag of Barvikha also indicates native silver contained in the sand, which purifies the waters of the Moscow River and its tributaries.

Green color is a symbol of nature, health, life growth.

Pine - a symbol of longevity, wisdom, fertility symbolizes symbolizes the rural settlement itself. The roots that nourish the tree allegorically reflect the settlements that are part of the settlement and are an integral part of it, united by a common history and interests. Pine is also a unique pine forest, which gave the name to the village - the original name sounded like "Boricha" or "Oborich".

The symbolism of the silver pillar in the coat of arms (white stripe on the flag) of the settlement is ambiguous:

- The white strip-road reflects the path of the pilgrims walking from Moscow to the Monk Savva of Zvenigorod to the Savvino-Storozhevsky Monastery . The monastery was founded in 1377, and in the middle of the XVI century the Great Moscow Road or as the Tsar’s Road was also called. Now there passes Rublevskoe highway .

- The pillar - a symbol of support, reliability, upward aspiration - allegorically indicates a desire for excellence and the prospect of the development of a rural settlement.

- The white (silver) pillar displays the Moscow River flowing through the territory of a rural settlement.

Red color is a symbol of labor, strength, courage, beauty and celebration.
