History
The Coconut label was created in 1981 by Karin Hartmann and Tony Hendrick , who discovered artists such as Wolfgang Petrie, Andreas Martin, Bad Boys Blue and Haddaway .
In early 2007, they sold Coconut to a group of private investors, who reorganized it and renamed it Coconut Music.
Karin Hartmann remained in the company as a member of the board and as a contact person for recording performers and producers continues to assist the firm.
Joerg Hustadti and Gerhard Zaidowski are currently managing commercial affairs.
