Description
The beetle is small in size, only 5 to 8 mm long.
Distribution
Distributed in France , Bulgaria , Turkey , the north of Iran , the Caucasus and southern Russia .
Ecology and habitats
The life cycle lasts from a year to two. Fodder plants of the larva are deciduous trees of the species: chestnut ( Castanea ), hornbeam ( Carpinus ), walnut ( Juglans ), ficus ( Ficus ), linden ( Tilia ), and others.
