Name Origin
It was named in the 19th century according to the homeowner of the 1800s to the merchant I. A. Shelaputin . Earlier names: Chernyavsky lane according to the homeowner, Panteleevsky lane - according to the manufacturer, merchant F. Panteleev, the homeowner of 1793.
Description
The Shelaputinsky Lane starts from Nikoloyamsky Lane, passes to the southeast, then turns south and goes onto Nikoloyamskaya Street.

On the odd side:
- No. 1 - the house of Savva Vasilyevich Morozov (1830-1840s, based on the chambers of the late XVIII century). Transferred to the Literary Museum. Previously, there was the All-Russian Research Institute of Autogenous Engineering (VNIIavtogenmash); Institute of Welding Technologies and Equipment;
- No. 3 - House of the 19th century , the church of Theodore, David and Konstantin Yaroslavsky at the almshouse to them. D. A. Morozov was built in 1888-1891 according to the project of architect M. I. Nikiforov . The outbuilding was rebuilt in 1894 according to the project of the architect V. G. Sretensky ; in 1905 - according to the project of A.M. Kalmykov
