Mangyshlak Regional Committee of the Communist Party of Kazakhstan

The Mangyshlak (since 1990 Mangistau) regional committee of the Communist Party of Kazakhstan is a regional party governing body in the Kazakh SSR (1973-1988 and 1990-1991).

The Mangyshlak region as part of the Kazakh SSR was formed on March 20, 1973 from the southern part of the Guryev region . Center - Shevchenko .

On June 2, 1988, the region was abolished, the territory was returned to the Guryev region .

On August 17, 1990, the Mangistau region was formed. Center - Shevchenko .
