Biography

Born on October 21, 1977 in Ordzhonikidze (now Vladikavkaz ). At the age of seven, he entered a music school in the class of Ossetian harmonics in the class of A. A. Gazatseva, and then, at the age of seventeen, he entered the Vladikavkaz musical school at the conducting department in the class of A. A. Briskin . In 2001 he graduated from the St. Petersburg Conservatory , where he studied in the classes of symphonic conducting of I. A. Musin and Yu. Kh. Temirkanov.

First performed as an opera conductor in Iceland ( Bohemia by J. Puccini) [ specify ] . As a symphonic conductor he made his debut in 2000 in St. Petersburg with the orchestra "St. Petersburg Camerata". In 2001, he was invited to the position of musical director of the Welsh National Opera : in 2003 he took office, but in 2004 was forced to leave the theater due to disagreements with the musicians.
