Sergei F. Weber ( July 22, 1857 - March 16, 1927 ) - Russian statesman, privy councilor (1906).
Biography
Nobleman of the Kharkov province. He studied at the 3rd Kharkov gymnasium and at the law faculty of Kharkov University , which he graduated in 1879. In 1883 he entered the service of the Ministry of Finance as a supernumerary official for special assignments of the Kharkov State Chamber. Then - ID tax inspector of the 1st site of Kharkov (1885). From 1889 - Head of the 1st Division of the Kharkov State Chamber.
From 1892 - manager of the Oryol State Treasury Chamber. He was repeatedly summoned from Orel to Petrograd to participate in various commissions under the Ministry of Finance and took an active part in drafting the draft law on the state trade tax .
From 1895 he worked at the headquarters of the Ministry of Finance, was vice-director (1895) and director (1905) of the Department of State Treasury. During his administration by the department, in connection with the procedure for drafting and reviewing the budget that had changed after the establishment of the State Duma and the reorganization of the State Council, a number of works were carried out.
Since 1909 - Comrade Minister of Finance.
Member of the State Council by appointment, was a member of the center group.
In 1915-1917 - Chairman of the permanent inter-departmental meeting to consider issues on the application of legislation on charity of persons called up for war, and their families, with the Supreme Council on charity of families of persons called up for war .
Since July 1917 - Senator.
In 1918 - a member of the commission to develop a draft treaty of the RSFSR with Finland. In the autumn of 1919 the Petrograd department of the National Center was scheduled to serve as finance minister of the post-Bolshevik government, for which he was arrested, but then released.
In the 1920s he lived in Leningrad, headed the Budget Commission of the Economic Research Institute at the People's Commissariat of Finance.
Died in 1927, buried at the Nikolsky cemetery of the Alexander Nevsky Lavra [1] [2] .

He was married to Yulia Viktorovna Lapotnikova, two children.
