Savoy (group)

Savoy is a Norwegian-American rock band that includes Paul Voktor Savoy (known as the a-ha guitarist) (vocals / guitar / bass / keyboards), Lauren Savoy (vocals / guitar) and Frod Uneland (drums / percussion / backing vocals). The group was founded in 1994 and released 5 studio albums.

Savoy has achieved great success in Norway. They were nominated for 3 Norwegian Grammy Awards and received 2 of them in 2000 and 2002 . The most famous hits of the group: "Velvet", "Rain", "Star", "Grind You Down", "If You Won't Come to the Party" and "Whalebone". In total, the group sold approximately 200,000 discs.

The group has nothing to do with Savoy Brown .
