Biography

Irina M. Dobryakova was born on February 16, 1931 in Leningrad. In 1961 she graduated from the Higher School of Industrial Art named after V. Mukhina in the workshop of Anatoly Kazantsev. She studied with Peter Buchkin , Arseny Semenov , Lev Chegorovsky . She married the artist L. I. Chegorovsky . Over the years, exhibited under the name of I. M. Chegorovskaya, I. M. Dobryakova-Chegorovskaya, I. M. Dobryakova.

Participates in exhibitions since 1960. Member of the Leningrad Union of Artists since 1972. Writes naturmotry, genre compositions, portraits, landscapes. Works in the technique of oil and tempera painting. The plein-air letter in the 1960s gives way to interest in the composed compositions, in the transmission of internal tension and latent drama in the plots, where at first glance "nothing happens". Decorative decorative painting. Late still lifes with fruit are distinguished by a bright, intense coloring and sharp layout.

The works of Irina Mikhailovna Dobryakova are in museums and private collections in Russia, Germany, France and other countries.
