About the album
In 1977, the group was able to sign a contract with the record company Brain and in September 1978, in a studio in Hamburg, the group began to record a full-fledged debut album. In November 1978, the recording was completed, during December 1978, the studio engineers made up the recording and went to print the matrix in 1979.
Before the release of the album was released minion Lady Lou .
The material on the debut album was quite far from the most recognizable subsequently albums of the group, which determined its style, but already contained some of the company's signature features: the recognizable voice of the singer Udo Dirkschneider and the sound of twin guitars . For its time, this album was very tough and powerful.
In the recording of some drum parts that Frank Friedrich could not cope with, Stefan Kaufmann took part.
The album was released in Germany in January 1979, and then in France , Japan , Greece , Canada , and Spain . In the US, the album was released a trial small circulation, which had to be printed.
