Manozzi, Mario

Mario Manozzi ( Italian: Mario Magnozzi ; March 20, 1902 , Livorno - June 25, 1971 , Livorno ) - an Italian footballer who played the position of a striker . After completing his playing career he was a coach. One of the stars of the Italian football of the 1920s [2] .

Club career

Mario started his football career at the Livorno club from his hometown. In 1925, he became the top scorer of the championship in Italy . Participant of two Olympiads : 1924 and 1928 . After spending 11 years at the club, he went to Milan . After three years in Milan, he returned to Livorno, where he subsequently completed his career.

International Career

He made his debut for the national team on May 25, 1924 in Paris against the Spanish national team as part of the Olympic tournament. Spent 29 matches in the national team, scored 13 goals. Won the "bronze" of the Olympics-28 and the Central European Cup 1927-1930 .
