Biography

Mastibek Tashmukhamedov was born on December 24, 1908 in the village of Porshnev, now Shugnansky District , Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region of the Republic of Tajikistan .

He studied at a boarding school in the city of Khorog . After graduation, he entered the Tashkent Pedagogical Institute. One of the first in Tajikistan in 1923 joined the Komsomol .

In 1929 , after graduation, he was appointed secretary of the Kangurt district committee of the Komsomol of the Kulyab region. Then he successively held the posts of secretary of the Kulyab district committee of the Komsomol of Tajikistan and the head of the military physical education department of the Central Asian regional committee of the Komsomol.

In 1932 - 1934 - First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Komsomol of Tajikistan.

In 1935, by order of the People's Commissar of Defense of the USSR and a resolution of the Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Tajikistan, Mastibek Tashmukhamedov was appointed deputy commander for political affairs of the 47th cavalry regiment of the 20th cavalry division. Then he goes to study at the military-political academy of them. Tolmachev in the city of Leningrad . After graduating from the Higher Courses of the Military-Political Academy in 1937, M. D. Tashmukhamedov returned to Dushanbe to the post of deputy chief of the political department of the 20th Cavalry Division.

In 1937 , as a close relative of the "enemy of the people" Shirinsho Shotemora was dismissed from the Red Army and arrested. After being released from the investigation, he worked at the Institute for the Improvement of Teachers in Dushanbe .

In connection with the beginning of World War II in August 1941, he was reinstated in the Red Army and was appointed senior instructor of the political department of the 389th Infantry Division , which was formed in Tashkent . From April 1942 to April 1943 - Deputy Head of the Political Department of the 389th Rifle Division .

During the battles in the area of ​​the villages of Ischarskaya and Naurskaya (now the Naursky District of the Chechen Republic ) from August 23 to 27, 1942, the battalion commissar M. Tashmukhamedov was in combat formation of the 1279th Infantry Regiment of the 389th Infantry Division. Together with the 5th and 6th rifle companies of the 1279th rifle regiment, he participated in battles and, with his own example, inspired fighters and commanders in the offensive. By Order No. 012 / n of October 15, 1942, the 44th Army of the Transcaucasian Front was awarded the Medal "For Courage" [1] .

From April 1943 until the end of the war, he was deputy commander of the 545th Infantry Regiment of the 389th Infantry Division for political affairs.

After World War II he served in the Turkestan Military District. In 1949 he graduated from the Military Institute in Ashgabat , and in 1957 - from the Military-Political Academy named after V.I. Lenin .

In 1957-1970 - the military commissar of the Tajik USSR. In 1962 he was awarded the title of Major General . From 1957 to 1963 he was a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Tajikistan. From 1957 to 1971 he was elected deputy of the Supreme Council of the Tajik SSR.

Since 1970, M. D. Tashmukhamedov retired.

He died on November 22, 1988 [2] .
