Yellow Antwerp Pigeon
Antwerp Pigeon ( German: Antwerpener Smerle ) is a breed of pigeons bred around the 19th century in the Belgian city of Antwerp , from where the name of the breed came from.
Pigeons of this breed belong to the group of gulls . The Antwerp dove was bred by crossing gulls with turbites and exhibition Antwerp , the breed was thinned with the help of German exhibition pigeons.

- Origin : An old Belgian breed existing for several centuries. It was modernized, especially heavily in the 19th century, using turbites, owls and exhibition Antwerp, and more recently, German beautiful homers.
- General impression : Heavy, rounded pigeons with a horizontal stand. The head is slender, smoothly rounded. The chest is quite deep, the frill is well developed. Lively temperament.
- Head : Powerful. When viewed in profile, it forms a continuous, not too curved line from the tip of the beak to the neck. When viewed from above, it is very complete between the beak and the eyes (without dips) and wide between the eyes.
