The Order of Cultural Merit ( French Ordre du Mérite Culture ) is a state award of the Principality of Monaco . Established by the Highest Decree of December 31, 1952 . The Order is awarded for merits in the development of the arts, humanities and sciences in Monaco or abroad, and thus contributing to the intellectual development of the Principality.
