He devoted his work to collecting and studying materials on private and public life in the village and around Archlebov , including folklore , folk customs and traditions. Chronicles of Yurek contain many interesting stories and poems that are transmitted here from generation to generation. The historian also collected many exhibits from village life, including photographs.
