Adelheid Maria Anhalt-Dessau ( German: Adelheid Marie von Anhalt-Dessau ; December 25, 1833 , Dessau - November 24, 1916 , Königstein ) - the second wife of Adolf , the last Duke of Nassau (since 1839 ) and the fourth great Duke of Luxembourg .

Adelheida is the eldest daughter in the family of Frederick Augustus of Anhalt-Dessau , a prince from the Askanian dynasty, and Princess Maria Louise Charlotte , daughter of William of Hesse-Kasselsky .
Family
On April 23, 1851, she married Adolf Nassausky . They had five children:
- William IV ( 1852 - 1912 ), became the next Grand Duke after the death of his father in 1905 .
- Friedrich Paul Wilhelm ( 1854 - 1855 );
- Maria ( 1857 - 1857 );
- Franz Joseph Wilhelm ( 1859 - 1875 );
- Hilda Charlotte Wilhelmina ( 1864 - 1952 ) - married Frederick II, Grand Duke of Baden .
