Career

Colin became a professional referee in 1976. During his career, he has been a judge in several well-known matches: in particular, the 1999 World Cup finals between Stephen Hendry and Mark Williams and the quarterfinals of the 2005 tournament between Ronnie O'Sullivan and Peter Ebdon (a match infamous for Ebdon's playing style).

Colin Brindad died in 2005, at the age of 59, after a long battle with cancer .
