The Guryev Regional Committee of the Communist Party of Kazakhstan is the governing body of the Guryev Regional Party Organization of the Communist Party of Kazakhstan (1938-1991).
The Guryev region as part of the Kazakh SSR was formed on January 15, 1938 from a part of the Aktobe region. Center - Guryev .
From May 3, 1962 to December 1, 1964, along with the Aktobe and Ural regions, it was part of the West Kazakhstan region of the Kazakh SSR.
Since February 21, 1992 - Atyrau region .
