Initially, the group was conceived by musician and producer Eli Jenny as a secondary project, but in the end it turned out to be quite successful, releasing a number of albums and recording several soundtracks for films.
Since 2003, the group’s activity has fallen sharply, and Jenny switched to producing and participating in other projects. In February 2009, Girls Against Boys had a European tour.
