Canadian Hot 100 ( Canadian Hot Hundred ) is a weekly music song popularity chart in Canada , released by Billboard magazine. The chart debuted on Billboard on June 16, 2007, although it was available online on June 7, 2007. [1] This was the first time Billboard was compiling Hot 100 charts for a specific country outside the United States. The first song to top the charts was a joint song by Rihanna and Jay-Z " Umbrella " [2] .
