Club career
A pupil of the football school "Banants". Since 2006, he has been playing for the core team . After 2 years, the debut in European competition took place, where he appeared as part of the Banana in the UEFA Cup . As a base player, Karapetyan received a microtrauma in 2009, due to which he missed some time in the championship . In the same season he was called up to the national team, thanks to performances for the club. In the 2010 season, together with the team he designed a silver hat-trick, playing in the finals of the Cup and the Super Cup of Armenia, but not having won them, as well as becoming the owner of the silver medals of the championship .
Team Career
He made his debut on February 11, 2009 as part of the Armenian national team in a friendly match against the Latvian national team . The match was held in Cyprus and ended with the score 0-0. [2]
