Army (newspaper)

The Army is a military people's newspaper published in St. Petersburg from October 15, 1906 twice a month, and from January 1, 1907 , weekly.

The editor-publisher was signed by George Lavrov. Issued in the format of a small newspaper; in each issue there were leading articles, a number of notes on the "malice of the day", small military articles, military-historical or military-technical articles, fiction-style articles (short stories by A. Vasilkovsky, A. Sedogo, etc.), military and general chronicle. Prominent military writers did not participate in the “Army” , it did not have serious significance, did not achieve success and distribution, and, despite the government subsidy and low subscription price (two rubles a year), ceased to exist by the end of 1907.
