Procedure
The procedure for conducting the exam is determined by the "Procedure for the state final certification of educational programs of basic general education." Key points of this document:
- OGE consists of four exams - the Russian language, mathematics and two subjects of choice.
- Students who do not have academic debt and have completed the curriculum are allowed to take the OGE.
- For admission to the OGE, the student must receive a credit for the final interview in the Russian language, which is held on the second Wednesday of February and on additional days.
Format
The format of the exam is close to the exam . The maximum points for each of the items (as of 2019) [1] :
- Russian language - 39 points.
- Mathematics (20 in algebra and 12 in geometry) - 32 points.
- Physics - 40 points.
- Chemistry (work without a real experiment) - 34 points
- Chemistry (work with a real experiment) - 38 points.

GIA graduates of 9th grade is evaluated at the regional level . In the case of successful exams, students are issued certificates of basic general education.
In the academic year 2018/19, ninth-graders will have to pass a total of 4 final exams, two of which will be compulsory (Russian and mathematics), and two more students will choose from the list of approved subjects [2] .
In 2018, the testing of the oral part of the exam in the Russian language, officially called the “Final oral interview in the Russian language,” began. It, along with the student’s lack of annual grades below “satisfactory,” is an admission to the main exam.

Math
As of 2019, the math exam is divided into two modules: the Algebra module and the Geometry module. The minimum number of points for obtaining a certificate is 8 [3] . Moreover, modulo "Algebra" must score at least 6 points, modulo "Geometry" - at least 2.
If a student, for example, correctly solved 7 tasks from the Algebra module and only one on the Geometry module, then the final certification will not be counted.
Physics
Part 1 of the physics exam includes a test with the choice of one correct answer, tasks with a short answer, tasks in which it is necessary to establish a correspondence between the concepts and the text on which it is necessary to answer questions. One of the tasks in the text refers to part 2. In part 2, students are offered tasks, laboratory work, and a quality task that requires a detailed answer.
Chemistry
The first part of the exam includes 15 questions with one answer. The second part is four multiple-choice questions. In the third part - the solution of two problems, one of which represents the reaction equation, the second calculation. The fourth part is experimental. The exam lasts 140 minutes.
Russian language
An exam in the Russian language requires completing assignments with a choice of answer, assignments with a complete answer, essay and presentation . Students listen to the text from the audio recording on the disc, which is attached to the KIM [ specify ] . In 2018, they also separately introduced an oral exam in the Russian language.
Computer Science
In Part 2 of the Computer Science Exam, let’s say the task to be completed is to create an algorithm for a robot executor or make a program in a programming language . There is also another task in part 2 - working with spreadsheets. These tasks are performed on computers that are disconnected from the Internet . Forms with answers to the first part are handed over to prevent the use of the calculator.
Social
As of 2019, exam assignments are in two parts. The first part includes 25 tasks. In tasks 1–20, the examiner is asked to choose one answer option out of the four proposed. In task 21 it is necessary to compare two social objects or phenomena (indicate two features of similarity and two features of difference). Task 22 - compliance task. Tasks 23 and 24 involve testing the skill of working with statistical material (charts or tables). Task 25 tests the ability to distinguish value judgments from factual ones.
The second part (tasks 26–31) tests the skills of understanding a social science text, the ability to find and use information in a text.
The duration of the exam is 3 hours, the use of any additional materials is not allowed.
OGE Introduction
Experiments on the introduction of GIA in the Russian language and mathematics have been conducted in various regions of Russia since 2002 . Now a similar system is used throughout Russia [4] .
Impact on the final mark
If the annual grade on the subject received by the student on the basis of the current (quarter) marks differs from that obtained on the exam, the arithmetic mean between the two marks (annual and exam) with rounding up is set out in the certificate. For example, a student chose a story for the exam. The annual mark on subject 5, but for the exam he received 3. In this case, the student will receive 4. In the certificate, it may be the other way around when the annual mark is 3, but for the exam he has 5. Then 4 also goes to the certificate.
The situation is different: the annual mark on subject 4, but the student received 5 in the exam, the student will receive 5 in the certificate, or vice versa, when the annual mark is 5, and for the exam 4, the certificate will still be 5, since the arithmetic mean value is 4.5 rounded up to 5.
Math score
In 2019, the math score for the certificate was considered as follows: the average arithmetic score for geometry and algebra in the year was taken, a separate mark for the geometry exam and a separate mark for the algebra exam. And they considered the arithmetic mean value of three estimates.
