For his personal contribution to the preservation, development and popularization of musical art in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, he was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Ministry of Culture of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea (2011) [8] . Biography

Children and youth passed in the Far North (the city of Vorkuta , 1963-1979). In 1978, he entered the Vorkuta School of Music in the balalaika class (first teachers A. Shmelev and M. M. Buryak). In 1979, he transferred to Simferopol College of Music named after P.I. Tchaikovsky (class teacher Yu. G. Poida). Further service in the Armed Forces of the USSR, Moscow State University of Culture and Arts (teacher, Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation, Professor V. D. Gleikhman ).

From 1987 to 1989 - soloist of the Russian folk instrument orchestra "Boyan", artistic director of the USSR People's Artist A. I. Poletaev .

Since 1989 - soloist, director (since 1995) of the SKAZ Russian Concert Quartet, art director Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, Honorary Citizen of New Orleans (USA) V. I. Sobolev - Belinskaya.

With the support and the most active participation of V.M. Khodukin, he created the balalaika creative alliance - a solo with the accordion orchestra, synthesizer and symphonic percussion group ( Daugavpils , Latvia, art director of the orchestra V.M. Khodukin - 1988). Performances with an accordion orchestra at international festivals of accordion music in Daugavpils, Riga Philharmonic, Vilnius, Lithuania (1988, 1992).

... The balalaika day is a holiday which, with the light hand of the chairman of the Russian "Club of Narodnik Musicians", Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Dmitry Belinsky, began to be celebrated in the CIS countries.

He turned to the musicians of Russia, as well as to musicians abroad with a great idea - to make June 23 "Balalaika Day." The reason for this was a study conducted by associate professor of the Department of Folk Instruments of the Petrozavodsk Conservatory Andrei Belorukov. The historical basis of this date is the first documentary mention of the balalaika - “Memory from the Streletsky order to the Little Russian order” - referring to June 13 (old style) in 1688. In a new style, this date shifts 10 days in advance and turns into June 23 ... "
