He studied at the Moscow Theater Studio of O. E. Ozarovskaya .

  • Since 1921 - Moscow Drama Theater at hand. V. G. Sakhnovsky; Moscow Art Theater 2nd
  • 1938-1941 - Moscow Theater of Water Transport ( Protasov in the “ Living Corpse ” by L. N. Tolstoy, Pechorin in “The Hero of Our Time ” by M. Yu. Lermontov and others.)
  • 1941-1942 - Omsk Drama Theater ( Uriel Acosta and Count de Rizoor in the plays of the same name by K. Gutskov and V. Sardou ).
  • 1942-1945 - front-line theater
  • 1947-1953 at the Literary Theater of the All-Union Theater Society ( Franz and Karl Moor in their own production of Robbers F. Schiller ).
  • Since 1953 - at the Pushkin Moscow Theater .

He participated in the preparation of literary records on the radio.
