Content
Story
The film is an attempt by the director to form his own opinion about the life and work of the artist Gustav Klutsis, one of the most significant Latvian artists of the twentieth century.
Gustav Klutsis after the revolution lived in the USSR, took an active part in the life of the then artistic avant-garde. He ideologically adhered to the constructivists, was one of the creators of the art of color photo montage and the founder of the October association.
The drama of his life, according to the creators of the tape, reflects the tragedy of people's fate. The screenwriter Pauls Bankovskis told the story of exorbitant ambitions, hope, love and responsibility of the artist, which continues to haunt him many years after his death.
