Description
“A rectangular blue cloth with an aspect ratio of 2: 3, along the upper edge of which is a red strip 1/4 of the width of the cloth, carrying images of three yellow close ears; in the middle of the blue strip is a white image of a wolf with yellow eyes from the coat of arms of a settlement. ”
Justification of Symbols
The main figure of the flag of the settlement is the wolf - a vowel symbol indicating the name of the settlement and the village of Volchenka - the administrative center of the settlement.
The wolf (this name means “light” in Greek) was not very kindly perceived in the Middle Ages, it seemed to be a symbol of evil because of its ferocity, cunning and greed. However, it is known that the legendary Romulus and Remus (the founders of Rome ) were fed by a she-wolf, and Mowgli , she was fed and raised by a wolf pack. In Russian fairy tales, the wolf sometimes spoke on the positive side, helping Ivan Tsarevich get Vasilisa the Beautiful . Therefore, the symbolism of the wolf (she-wolf) carries positive features:
- a symbol of motherhood, care for posterity;
- a symbol of prudence;
- a symbol of caution.
Spikelets symbolize the agricultural orientation of the production activity of the settlement.
The symbolism of the ear is ambiguous:
- a symbol of rebirth, awakening to life;
- a symbol of fertility and fertility;
- a symbol of hidden opportunities, hidden forces.
