Flag of the rural settlement Ateptsevskoye

The first flag of the rural settlement of Ateptsevskoye was approved on April 11, 2007 by the decision of the Council of Deputies of the rural settlement of Ateptsevskoye No. 4/15 ^[3] , which gave the following description of the flag:

The flag of the rural settlement of Ateptsevskoye is a green rectangular panel with an aspect ratio of 2: 3, with a white area near the shaft, separated by an ascending winding line starting from the lower corner of the shaft and ending at the upper edge (at a distance of 1/2 the length of the panel from the free edge) and framed by three diminishing images of wheels - at the edges white and in the middle green.

This flag was not approved by the Heraldic Council under the President of the Russian Federation and on December 19, 2008, by the decision of the Council of Deputies of the rural settlement Ateptsevskoye No. 11/27 ^[2] , having examined the appeal of Regionservice LLC of the Russian Heraldry Union , the description and drawing of the flag were amended:

The flag of the rural settlement of Ateptsevskoye is a green rectangular panel with a 2: 3 aspect ratio with a white area at the pole, separated by an ascending curving line starting from the bottom corner at the pole (1/6 of the length of the flag from the pole) and ending at the upper edge (on 2/3 of the length of the cloth from the free edge) and framed by three diminishing images of the wheels — white and green in the middle along the edges.

The main figure of the flag of the settlement is a wheel, the symbolism of which is ambiguous:

- it is movement, development, progress;

- three wheels on the flag of a rural settlement, starting from the big wheel, allegorically reflect the largest territorial units that are currently part of the settlement: the village of Ateptsevo , the village of Novaya Olkhovka and the village of Kamenskoye (in these three settlements more than 90% of the total population of the rural settlement live) ;

- the wheel is perceived as a symbol of the Sun, because its spokes resemble the rays of a celestial body;

- a wheel is a symbol of the eternally current time, and three wheels symbolize the connection of times: from the past - through the present - to the future;

- the wheel is a symbol of constant movement. On the flag of the rural settlement, the Ateptsevsky wheel, repeated three times, symbolizes the steady growth of production from 4 workers at the merchant Alyoshin to many hundreds at present.

The flag in allegorical form presents the entire history of the development of the industry of a rural settlement. In the past (small wheel), the small paper mill of the merchant Alyoshin, it turned into the Novaya Zhizn paper station in Soviet times (middle wheel), and then into the large city-forming enterprise, the Elinar insulating materials factory, which is currently the foremost an enterprise producing electrical insulating materials not only in Russia but also abroad. Currently, in a rural settlement, industry is represented by large enterprises of various profiles (big wheel), such as OJSC HC Elinar, Avon Beauty Products Company LLC, Reksam LLC, etc.

The wavy line dividing the flag into two parts symbolizes:

- The river Naru , flowing through the territory of a rural settlement;

- tape of paper or insulating material;

- a line of defense that took place in October - December 1941 through the territory of a modern settlement.

The color scheme of the flag of the rural settlement Ateptsevskoye (silver - green) coincides with the color scheme of the flag of the Naro-Fominsk district , which symbolizes the cultural, historical and economic community of the two municipalities.

White color ( silver ) is a symbol of purity, clarity, openness.

Green color symbolizes the nature surrounding the settlement, as well as developed agricultural production, represented by three modern farms. The flag image, executed in silver-green colors, allegorically shows the cultural, historical and economic community of two municipalities - the Naro-Fominsk municipal district and the rural settlement of Ateptsevskoye.
