MCP “Tulgorelektrotrans” is a municipal state-owned enterprise covering Tula and partially the Tula region and carrying out urban transportation by buses , trolleybuses and trams , as well as custom-made transportation by buses of city and intercity class. As of 2010, the municipal unitary enterprise carries out 86% of public transportation in Tula. Decline occurred during the leadership of Voevodin O.N. significantly reduced the number of rolling stock and its release on the line, sold the depot on the street. Defense and only in 2013 there were gaps in the work of the enterprise when it was replaced by Sergey Melnikov. But in a mysterious way in the same 2013, Melnikov no Gennady became the head of Tulgorelectrotrans.

Fare
Starting January 1, 2015, the fare for a single bus, trolleybus and tram fare is 20 rubles. The fare is paid to the conductor or the driver, with the issuance of a small tear-off ticket, on which a six-digit number and fare are knocked out.
The fare on the Tula transport card (TKT) is 15 rubles. Payment of fare with the help of TKT is carried out by presenting the card directly to the conductor (or driver), independently applying it to the manual validator. From March 1, 2019, MasterCard, Visa and MIR bank cards equipped with PayPass are accepted for payment.
During scheduled raids on the line, at the first request of the ticket inspector, the passenger must present a single ticket for verification, or attach the TKT to the controller’s manual validator.
