Paramonov, Pavel Denisovich

Born on October 25, 1925 in the village of Maryevka, now Matveyev-Kurgan district, Rostov region.

He graduated from 7 classes, vocational school at the plant named after Dimitrov in the city of Taganrog , worked at this factory as an assembly fitter of aircraft.

In the army since February 1943 as part of the 473rd Artillery Regiment (99th Rifle Division, 46th Army, 2nd Ukrainian Front). He participated in the battles for the Donbass , in the battle for the Dnieper , Odessa , Chisinau , in the liberation of Romania, the capture of the Hungarian capital of Budapest .

In 1947, Pavel Paramonov graduated from the Odessa Artillery School. He continued his service as a platoon commander, a battery in a howitzer artillery brigade in the group of Soviet troops in Germany, and then served for many years in command posts in the Red Banner Northern Fleet. Member of the CPSU since 1957 .

Paramonov died on August 13, 1970 . He was buried in Taganrog in the old cemetery .

A reconnaissance platoon scout of the 2nd Division Paramonov P. D. on the night of December 5, 1944, as part of an assault group, forced the Danube near the town of Erci ( Hungary ). Bursting into the trench of the enemy, grenades destroyed machine-gunners and two officers. When seizing the village Maruuhaz seized 5 vehicles with ammunition, destroyed 6 Germans, which contributed to the mastery of the settlement, participated in repelling the enemy's counterattack. The title of Hero of the Soviet Union was awarded on March 24, 1945 .

• On the building of the school number 23 of the city of Taganrog, where P. D. Paramonov studied, a memorial plaque was erected, commemorating him.
• In the village of Maryevka, one of the streets bears his name.
