Highway 42 (Israel)

Highway 42 ( Heb. כביש 42 , English Highway 42 ) is an Israeli highway leading from south to north in central Israel. The highway is 19 km long and runs east of highway 4 and parallel to it ^[1] .

Prior to the intersection of Beit Oved, the highway has one lane in each direction. The highway north of the Beit Oved intersection includes two lanes in each direction and a lane for oncoming traffic.

Highway 42 leads to many attractions located in the Jewish lowlands, such as Tel Yavne, the kibbutz Yad Mordechai and others ^[2] .
