Biography
Surkhai Akperov was born on February 8, 1954 in the village of Zakhmet in the Masis district of the Armenian SSR . In 1976 he graduated from the Mathematics and Mechanics Department of S. M. Kirov Azerbaijan State University with a degree in mechanics. In 1976 - 1993 he worked at the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of ANAS . In 1988 he defended his doctoral dissertation. In 1993, he became a professor , and in 2001 a corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan . From 1993 to the present, he has been working at Yıldız Technical University (Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi) [1]
Scientific activity
Surkhai Akperov is the author of studies in the field of mechanics of composite materials with curved structures, as well as the author of the monograph “Mechanics of curved composites”, published by Kluwer Academic Publishers in the Netherlands (Netherlands) in 2000 . In the framework of the three-dimensional linearized theory of a deformed solid, Akbarov Surkhai developed an approach for studying the fracture and stability of composite materials and structural elements from these materials, whose properties depend on time.
Surkhai Akperov is the author of 130 published scientific papers. By 2010, under his leadership, 30 candidates and 3 doctors of technical sciences were prepared [2] .
