Story
The film takes place in Europe, where the matured Tom Ripley equips his life. He and his friends, Bernard and Cynthia, have a great time together. However, an unexpected tragedy disrupts the usual course of their lives. A local acquaintance of Cynthia and partly a rather talented young artist, dies in a car accident. Ripley quickly wonders what benefit can be obtained by selling the paintings of the young master. In order not to make too much noise, the fact of the artist’s death is carefully hidden. The art trade is brisk, but the paintings are soon ending. Then he and Cynthia persuade Bernard to take up the brush and begin to create on behalf of the deceased artist. The tight tangle of deception and profit weaves more and more and one cannot get rid of one dead ...
