Nikolaevka (Neklinovsky district)

In 1923 - 1929, the village was the administrative center of the Nikolaevsky district of the Taganrog District .

In the village is the church of St. Nicholas. Built in 1850 ^[1] .

In the village there is the State budgetary educational institution of the Rostov region "Neklinovskaya boarding school with the initial flight training named after the Fourth Red Banner Air Army" ^[2] .

Today it is one of the three educational institutions operating in Russia for the development of career guidance in the field of flight.

For a quarter of a century, almost three thousand pupils received airplane driving skills, made the first parachute jumps. Most of them entered the higher military educational institutions. More than a thousand people serve in the ranks of the Russian army, including in command positions ^[3] .

In 2010, the school was awarded the Cup of the Legislative Assembly of the Rostov Region as "The best municipal institution engaged in the spiritual, moral and patriotic education of young people." On March 31, 2011, the school is listed in the National Register “Leading Educational Institutions of Russia”. March 18, 2013 - in the “All-Russian Register of Socially Responsible Enterprises and Organizations of Russia”. On the recommendation of the Ministry of Education of the Rostov Region, the school twice participated in the competition and won two Diplomas (2013 and 2014) laureate of the contest “100 best schools of Russia” in the nominations “Best boarding school” and “Leader in the sphere of patriotic education”. In the All-Russian festival of innovative projects, the school received a diploma in the nomination "The most successful project - 2014".
